He goes through and shows you how to setup a majority of the Jack with virtual audio devices similar to Virtual Audio Cable using mostly gui applications and a few config files. The video is a few years old at this point, but the information is still usable.
I recommend following this video by Skrappjaw. It can be a bit tricky if you're not used to it. It made running audio to a physical mixer a hell of a lot easier. One of my favorite features is that you can use single 5.1 or 7.1 surround sound card (which most motherboards have built in) as multiple audio outputs compared to Windows where you'd need a separate sound card for each audio output.

This is actually one of the biggest selling points that made me make the full switch to Linux, and I can let you know that using Jack is not only a replacement for voicemeter, but better than voicemeter in my opinion. I'm 2 days into Linux and still getting used to the learning curve and documentation for things. Sorry that this is kind of a repeat I guess of the reddit thread I have linked.
